| 内容記述 | The article is the material for students who participate in a fieldwork around the Hiroshima Castle, or a guidebook for foreign tourists, especially those who come from German-speaking countries. It can be used firstly as a material of students studying the modern history of Hiroshima and learning German as a second language at universities in Hiroshima, secondly as a guidebook or a pamphlet for those who explain to foreign tourists, especially German-speaking countries about the ruins of the military facilities of the former imperial Japanese army which are located around the castle. Ultimately it aims to provide the foreign travelers with “language barrier free situation” by using their mother tongue. The shortage of publications such as pamphlets or guidebooks that describe the ruins of the military facilities around the castle in foreign languages, particulary in German, has caused the present author to prepare the article. Currently there are only brief explanations for them in Japanese and English. Considering the growing number of European tourists, especially German, who come to Hiroshima in recent years, it is worth preparing the guidebook in German. This article will provide students, foreign tourists and devotees of history with an opportunity to learn about the history of the military city. In the near future, translation of the article into English, French and Spanish are forthcoming. | |||||||||||
